My Essential Employee Project

At the beginning of this pandemic, I decided that I wanted to do a special series on essential employees that I personally know and have previously photographed at some point. I’m so proud of them and grateful for what they do for our community and our families. They don’t have to do what they do. It’s a choice and for that I’m thankful.

To kick the series off, who better to start with than Maurice. Moe has served as a Transit Police Office for 14 years. I’ve had the privilege to watch him grow and see his love for what he does and the community he serves. “My job affords me the opportunity to give my community the safety that I believe it deserves. Each day I am able to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community by highlighting the human and personal side of officers and those in uniform.” Thank you Maurice for your time and dedication to the community you serve. You are appreciated!

Stay tuned next week for my next feature!
